St. Pete Candidates Speak on the Issues

While the public forum is set for Monday night, voters have plenty of chances to tune in.

St. Petersburg voters who want to hear city council candidates’ take on the issues will have several chances to do so before the Nov. 3 election.

A forum for candidates seeking seats in Districts 1, 3, 5 and 7 takes place Monday night at 7. The event is being staged at City Hall, 175 Fifth St. N. Several candidates have signed up to take part and will address pre-screened questions during the forum, which is being sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area.

For those who cannot attend in person, the forum will air live on StPeteTV (channel 641 on Bright House, 15 on WOW and 20 on Verizon FiOs). It will also be streamed lived on www.stpete.org.
