St. Pete To Host 3rd Annual Iftar Dinner To Celebrate Ramandan
The city of St. Petersburg is now taking registrations for the third annual "Breaking Bread Together With Compassion and Love" Iftar Dinner.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- The city of St. Petersburg is now taking registrations for the third annual "Breaking Bread Together With Compassion and Love" Iftar Dinner to celebrate the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
The dinner will take place Wednesday, May 29 at 7 p.m. at The Coliseum, 535 4th Ave. N., St. Petersburg. Special guests will include St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman, U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist, D-FL, and Muslim leaders from throughout Tampa Bay. Spectrum Bay News 9 reporter Trevor Pettiford will serve as the emcee.
Last year, more than 800 people attended the event to eat, learn, talk and pray.
