St. Pete Libraries Scheduled To Reopen On Monday, May 18

The city announced that libraries will reopen next week with certain limitations, and St. Pete Library continues virtual options.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Libraries are scheduled to reopen on Monday, May 18 with some caveats, according to the city of St. Petersburg. Library patrons can have computer access by appointment only at Johnson, North and South Community libraries. Book returns are allowed at Main and Mirror Lake libraries.

On June 1, curbside delivery by appointment only kicks off at Main and Mirror Lake libraries. Appointments can be scheduled for curbside delivery on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In the meantime, the St. Petersburg Library System does offer virtual reading and music for library card holders. If you would like to check out audiobooks, e-books or music from the library visit St. Petersburg Library System.

The city of St. Pete reminds residents that Center for Disease Control guidelines are still in effect, and to keep a physical distance of six fee or more from others.
