St. Pete Man Crossing Street Dies After Being Hit By Truck: FHP
A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a truck while crossing U.S. 19 Friday night, FL Highway Patrol said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 68-year-old St. Petersburg man was killed after being hit by a truck Friday night on U.S. 19, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The man was crossing the highway north of 62nd Avenue N. around 9 p.m. when he stepped in front of the truck, FHP said.
The truck was driven by a 33-year-old Clearwater man.
