St. Pete Man Killed In Hit And Run, Driver Sought By Police

The 37-year-old man was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a car in Pinellas Park on Saturday morning, reports said.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — Pinellas Park police are searching for a woman they say killed a St. Petersburg man in a hit-and-run crash Saturday morning, according to multiple reports citing authorities.

Police said the crash happened shortly after 3 a.m. when a car hit a bicyclist on 66th Street, WFLA reported, citing a news release. The driver of the car — identified as Anaya Elisia Millan, 26, of Seminole — left the scene of the crash, reports citing police said.

The cyclist — William Christopher Rothey, 37, of St. Petersburg — was taken to a hospital where he died, reports said.

Police later found Millan's car abandoned in a Publix parking lot, located at 733 Park Blvd., WTSP reported.
