St. Pete Mom Who Left Kids In Hot Car Asked Police For AC In Cop Car
A woman who left her kids in a hot car while she shopped at a St. Pete Walmart asked police to turn up air conditioning on her way to jail.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A mother faces charges after leaving her children in a hot car outside a St. Petersburg Walmart, according to multiple reports.
Nyakobo Kuany Mar, 30, left her 3-year-old and 6-year-old in the car outside the store on 34th Street South Wednesday for about 20 minutes while she shopped, according to WFLA.
Temperatures hit 91 degrees that day, the Miami Herald reported.

She was charged with two felony counts of child abuse and resisting arrest without violence.
Mar didn’t show concern about her children and while being taken to jail in a police car, she asked officers to turn up the air conditioning, reports said.
