St. Pete Morning Market Temporarily Moves To New Location
The St. Pete Saturday Morning Market moves temporarily moves to a new location on Saturday because of staging for the Firestone Grand Prix.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Saturday Morning Market will move to an alternate location Saturday for one day only because of street race track construction for the 2023 Firestone Grand Prix, according to a news release from Pinellas County Economic Development.
Staging for the Grand Prix race is impacts the area around Al Lang Stadium parking lot, where the weekly market usually takes place from October through May.
The Grand Prix runs March 2-5 and the Saturday Morning Market scheduled for March 4 is canceled because of the event.

This Saturday, though, the market will be centered at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 5th Street N., adjacent to city hall. Vendors will be located along both thoroughfares from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event offers fresh farm producer, flowers, artisan food products, ready-to-eat foods from more than 15 countries, and handmade crafts.

The market will resume in the stadium parking lot on March 11.
