St. Pete Museum Of Fine Arts To Present Summer Concert Series

The Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Drive N.E., St. Petersburg has kicked off its popular summer concert series, Marly Music.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- The Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Drive N.E., St. Petersburg has kicked off its popular summer concert series, Marly Music.

On tap for June 16 is noted jazz pianist Aaron Diehl, who toured with Wynton Marsalis as a teen and has famously referred to him as “The Real Diehl.”

The concert series is supported by the Marly Music Society, a support group of the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg that believes great music and fine musicians complement the visual arts displayed at the MFA.

Each year, Marly Music presents a concert series featuring a global roster of renowned artists performing in a variety of genres, including classical, chamber, jazz and world music. This year’s lineup ranges from a Grammy-award winning guitarist to a well-known ensemble featuring the head of the St. Pete Opera.

Each Marly Music concert takes place on Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg (in the Marly Room). Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for students and Marly Music Society members. Tickets include admission to the museum.
