St. Pete Museums, Galleries Participate In Arts Alive! Free Museum Day
Seven museums and galleries are participating in St. Petersburg's annual Arts Alive! Free Museum Day.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Select museums and galleries are waiving admission fees Saturday to celebrate St. Petersburg’s annual Arts Alive! Free Museum Day, according to a news release from the city.
Arts Alive! coincides with the Smithsonian Magazine’s Free Museum Day, which offers free access to select cultural institutions nationwide.
The following museums and galleries are participating in this year’s Arts Alive! initiative in St. Petersburg:

- Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum, 2240 9th Ave. S. Usually open Tuesday through Friday, the Woodson Museum will open Saturday for Arts Alive! Check with the museum for specific hours.
- Florida Holocaust Museum, 55 Fifth Street S. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
- Imagine Museum, 1901 Central Ave. Tickets are available in advance for Saturday. Advanced tickets will be timed and have capacity restrictions. Arrival times are based on 30-minute timeslots that begin at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and must be booked through the Smithsonian Museum website. Visitors must be in line by 3 p.m. Tickets allow access to all first-floor galleries.
- The Dali Museum, 1 Dali Blvd. Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. Free admission for Pinellas County residents only. Valid proof of residence required. Tickets need to be preserved online here.
- The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art, 150 Central Ave. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Advanced registrations are available and encouraged online here. Limited walk-up tickets will be available at the door until 4 p.m. Admission includes access to the permanent collection and the new special exhibition, Black Pioneers: Legacy in the American West.
- St. Petersburg Museum of History, 335 2nd Ave. NE. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Free admission for Pinellas County residents only.
- Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Drive NE. Open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Advance tickets are not required.
