St. Pete Wants Input On Pier Approach
An online survey is being conducted to gain ideas for what to do with the area that connects the pier to Beach Drive.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — As the city of St. Petersburg continues efforts to reimagine Pier Approach, it’s looking for input from area residents.
To that end, the city has kicked off an online survey that’s based on design concepts pitched during a March 15 meeting. Residents who were unable to attend the meeting are invited to share their input on what they’d like to see happen with the Pier Approach as redesign work continues.
Pier Approach is the stretch of land that connects the pier to Beach Drive and the downtown area. The boundaries run along the waterfront from the Vinoy to Pioneer Park. Inspirational ideas provided by the Pier Approach Design team include such concepts as a play area, temporary markets, an adult play zone and more.
