St. Pete Welcomes Santa During Annual Christmas Parade Saturday
Santa Claus will join St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman Saturday, Nov. 24 for the annual St. Pete Santa Parade and Tree Lighting.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- The big guy's heading to St. Petersburg. Santa Claus will join St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman Saturday, Nov. 24 for the annual St. Pete Santa Parade and Tree Lighting.
The parade begins at Albert Whitted Park at 5:30 p.m. and runs along Bayshore Drive and 5th Avenue Northeast.
Before the 8 p.m. tree lighting, enjoy entertainment provided by the City Dancers and the St. Petersburg Community Band. Children and teens can also enjoy activities and games.

Hot chocolate, drinks and snack concessions will be available.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair; seating is not provided.

Santa In North Straub Park
There will be free visits with Santa from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 1, Dec. 6-9 and Dec. 13-23 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Snowfest
The Snowfest celebration will be on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m in North Straub Park.
Activities include a big and kiddie toboggan slide, art tent, karaoke, moonwalk, giant slide and a Kiddyland area designed especially for preschoolers. Wristbands are $5 and include all activities.
Holiday Movies In The Park
Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for a holiday movie in Vinoy Park at 5th Avenue N.E. Movies start at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
Dec. 7 – A Christmas Story
Dec. 14 – The Santa Clause
Dec. 21 – Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws
Waterfront Lights And Displays
While you stroll along the waterfront, see thousands of holiday lights and decorations in North Straub Park, South Straub Park, Pioneer Park, Al Lang Park and Albert Whitted Park.
Don’t miss the giant greeting card display along Bayshore Drive at Vinoy Park made by local teens from St. Petersburg’s recreation centers.
