St. Pete Woman Injured in Pedestrian Crash
The accident happened Sunday evening along 50th Avenue North.
A 50-year-old St. Petersburg woman suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car Sunday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:53 p.m. along 50th Avenue North near Haines Road North. Troopers say Peggy Strength was walking across the travel lanes when she was struck by a Chevy Malibu driven by Tameka Hardaway, 24, also of St. Petersburg.
Strength was taken to Bayfront Medical Center in serious, but stable condition.
