Cosplay, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Anime Voice Actors At St. Pete Comic Con Weekend

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — St. Pete Comic Con 2022, the first in the city, premieres at The Coliseum for a two-day, multi-genre comic convention Saturday.

St. Pete Comic Con's website said it's past-time for St. Petersburg–a world-wide destination city–to have a high-end comic convention. Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville and Lakeland have had their own for years.

Comics, anime and science fiction will be featured as well as fantasy talent like @Dark.Lady.Cosplay who has cosplayed more than 20 "World of Warcraft" characters, and is considered one of Florida’s most prolific cosplayers, according to "Florida Cosplay Digital Magazine."

Additional guests include anime voice actors such as Erica Schroeder who has voiced more than 200 roles of animation and video games such as "Pokemon" and "X-Men"; Mike McFarland, who has voiced for "Dragon Ball," and others; and Sarah Wiedenheft, a voice actor for "Dr. Stone," and many more.

“If you have cosplay talent, bring it!” This is the mantra of the cosplay contests at St. Pete Comic Con 2022, which will feature two competitions, with one Saturday, and another on Sunday.
