Sweater Weather on the Way

Weekend lows are expected to dip into the 40s.

A cold front moving through the region may have some Tampa Bay area residents pulling out those extra blankets during the overnight hours Halloween weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday’s high is only expected to reach the mid-60s while its low could drop into the 40s in some areas. Sunday brings slight warming with a high around 70 anticipated. Lows will drop into the low 50s in the overnight hours.

While chillier weather is expected, the weather service’s forecasters aren’t anticipating rain over the weekend.

The start of the workweek should kick off a warming trend. Monday’s high is anticipated to reach the mid-70s while Tuesday could see a return of 80-degree weather in the Bay area.
