Kids throughout the Tampa Bay area get to enjoy a few days off for the Thanksgiving holiday, but students in some counties will get a longer break from the books than others.
Here’s a breakdown of the Thanksgiving week days off for 2015 by county:
Pinellas County
Students here are off for the entire week, Nov. 23-27, according to the district calendar.

The next break on tap runs from Dec. 21 through Jan. 4, 2016, for the winter holidays.
Hillsborough County
Students in this county also get the whole week off, Nov. 23-27.

The next vacation is on tap for Dec. 21 through Jan. 1, 2016, with a return date of Jan. 4 on the district’s calendar.
Sarasota County
Students here don’t get the whole week off. Instead, their Thanksgiving break runs Nov. 25-27, according to the district calendar.
The next vacation on the books begins Dec. 21 and runs through Jan. 1, 2016.
Manatee County
Classes are out for the entire week, Nov. 23-27, in this county, according to its district calendar.
The next break begins Dec. 21 and runs through Jan. 4, 2016, with a return to class on Jan. 5.
Pasco County
Students in this Bay area county get the whole week off, Nov. 23-27, according to the district’s calendar.
The next break here begins Dec. 21 and runs through Jan. 4, 2016, with a Jan. 5 return to class date.
