Tarpon Springs Driver, 85, Dies After Driving Truck Into Largo Retention Pond: FL Troopers
The man lost control of a pick-up truck on Bryan Dairy Road in Largo and drove it into a retention pond, FL troopers said.

LARGO, FL — A Tarpon Springs man died Sunday after driving a pick-up truck into a pond on Bryan Dairy Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The 85-year-old was driving a Chevy Silverado west Bryan Dairy Road, west of Belcher Road, when he lost control of the truck around 1 p.m. for an unknown reason, the agency said.
The truck rotated, left the highway and drove into a nearby retention pond.

The driver was pulled from the water and brought to an area hospital, where he later died.
