Teen Fired 20 Rounds At 2 People In South St. Pete: Police
A 15-year-old boy was charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder after shooting at two people, St. Petersburg police said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 15-year-old boy was arrested after shooting at two people in south St. Petersburg on Halloween, authorities said.
The teen shot about 20 rounds at two people in the area of 19th Avenue South and 49th Street just before 2 p.m., St. Petersburg police wrote in a Facebook post.
The victims, who know the teen, were able to run away from him and no one was hurt in the shooting.

The teen was charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder and one count of violation of probation, police said.
Though police name the teenager, it’s Patch’s policy to not name those charged in the juvenile court system. It’s not clear whether the boy was charged as a juvenile or an adult.
