Teen Killed In House Fire On Coquina Key: Authorities

The teen's mother and 17-year-old sibling were injured, but a 10-year-old sibling was not hurt, WFLA reported.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A teen was killed and two others were injured in a house fire early Sunday morning on Coquina Key in St. Petersburg, according to emergency personnel and media reports.

St. Petersburg Fire Rescue responded around 3:30 a.m. to the scene, where firefighters found heavy fire coming from the single-story home and people still inside, the agency reported, adding three people were taken to a local hospital.

An 18-year-old woman died of injuries suffered in the blaze, according to the agency.
