Teen Shot, Killed At Friend’s Home: St. Pete Police

A 15-year-old boy was shot, killed Saturday afternoon while visiting a friend's home in St. Petersburg, police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 15-year-old was fatally shot Saturday afternoon at his friend’s home in St. Petersburg, authorities said.

Trill Tewan Wright was visiting the friend’s home on 12th Avenue South around 4:30 p.m. when the shooting happened, according to a news release from St. Petersburg police. He later died from his injuries.

The shooting remains under investigation, police said.
