Teen Shot At Wildwood Park: St. Petersburg Police
A 16-year-old boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a Monday night shooting at Wildwood Park, St. Petersburg police said.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 16-year-old boy was shot Monday night at Wildwood Park, St. Petersburg police said.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the park around 8 p.m. and found the teen with a gunshot wound.
The victim was brought to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The investigation remains ongoing.

A shooting in the parking lot of the Thomas “Jet” Jackson Recreation Center, which is located at the park, left three young adults injured earlier this year.
In the early morning hours of Feb. 5, a person drove up to a gathering in the parking lot and fired shots, injuring two women, ages 20 and 22, and a man.
