There’s Still Time To Catch Fall Festivals Near St. Petersburg
Check out these fall carnivals, pumpkin patches, block parties, Halloween events and more in the St. Petersburg area.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Fall is a great time to get outside in Florida and take in the rich offering of festivals.
The changing colors of autumn provide a scenic background for fall and harvest festivals, which have contests ranging from apple bobbing and pumpkin carving to lumberjack contests and Halloween parades.
Fall is also the season for corn mazes, pumpkin patches and apple orchard visits.

When: Through Oct. 16, hours vary
Where: St. Pete Pier
Admission: Free
This traditional pumpkin patch has more than 5,000 pumpkins from small to giant for purchase, as well as photo opportunities and other activities.
When: Oct. 21, 8 p.m.
Where: Nova, 535 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street N.
Admission: Tickets start at $10 per person
This event features the Shiso Crispy food truck, burlesque and fire dancing, costume contests, and more. A portion of proceeds benefit The Last Prisoner Project.
When: Oct. 22, 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: St. Petersburg’s Euclid St. Paul neighborhood.
Admission: $8 per adult, $5 per child
This family-friendly haunted tour features decorated homes, interactive scenes, candy giveaways and a block party. Funds raised are donated to charity.
When: Oct. 22-23, noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Florida Botanical Gardens, 12520 Ulmerton Road, Largo
Admission: Free to attend; purchase pumpkins for $10 each
Enjoy crafts, games and activities from event sponsors.
Tierra Verde October Fall Fest
When: Oct. 23, 2 to 8 p.m.
Where: Downtown Tierra Verde
Admission: Free
Dance to music from The Black Honkeys. There will be food, drinks, pumpkins, face painting, games and a costume contest. Proceeds benefit The Pinellas County Center on Deafness.
When: Oct. 30, noon to 5 p.m.
Where: Central Avenue will shut down to cars from MLK to 31st Street for a massive Halloween block party.
Admission: Free to attend block party (check local businesses for specific events)
Last year’s event drew more than 70,000 people.
Old Salt Fall King of the Beach Festival and Tournament
When: Nov. 3-5
Where: 200 Rex Place, Madeira Beach
Admission: $255 tournament fee for members, $275 for nonmembers
Fishing tournament with prizes includes a community party with live music.
When: Nov. 3-6
Where: St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd. NE, St. Petersburg
This community event includes carnival rides, food, a waterside biergarten and music, and bingo.
