5 Things to do in St. Pete This Weekend

Vince Gill, Second Saturday Art Walk, Rowdies in Town, Dali Birthday Bash and Last weekend for "Rocky Horror" are just five things to do in St. Pete this weekend. What are you doing this weekend, St. Pete?

1. Vince Gill at the Mahaffey

County music legend and multi Grammy-award winning artist Vince Gill will grace the stage  at 7 p.m. Sunday. Gill has won 20 Grammy awards and recently received his 41st Grammy nomination. Tickets to the show start at $35. 

2. Second Saturday Art Walk

Along Central Avenue in downtown St. Pete and through the Grand Central District will be the Second Saturday Gallery Walk this weekend. Participating Galleries open their doors for extended hours on the second Saturday evening of every month. A full list of participating galleries can be found online . The walk is free and is from 6 - 9 p.m. 

3. Dali Birthday Bash

All day Friday and Friday night, the  is celebrating Salvador Dali's birthday. During the day, there are free activities from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., which include tarot card readings, cake pops, films and balloon art. At night Dali's bash is from 7 - 10 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes a Dali look-a-like contest, including best Dali mustache and best tattoo. 

4. Rowdies Back in Town

At 7:30 p.m. Saturday night at , the Tampa Bay Rowdies are back in town. Enjoy professional soccer along St. Petersburg's bayfront. On Saturday, the Rowdies are taking on the San Antonio Scorpions. Tickets start at $14. 

5. Last Weekend for 'Rocky Horror Show'

This is your last weekend to check out American Theater's production of "Rocky Horror Show". The show is being performed outside a Demens Landing. This cult classic rock 'n' roll musical of clean-cut sweethearts Brad and Janet and their detour into the debauchery of the mansion of Dr. Frank'n'Furter. Tickets start at $11 and the show starts at 8 p.m. Sunday, May 13, is the last day to check out the show. On-stage chair seating to interact with the cast is available, as well as general admission lawn seating.
