Thirsty First Moving Into Former Acropolis Space

Thirsty First will move into the space left vacant by Acropolis Greek Taverna at 515 Central Ave., according to St. Pete Catalyst.

The sports bar outgrew its space at 119 1st Ave. N. and expand, owner Greg Mikurak said.
He plans to expand the menu and sports viewings offerings.

HaleLife Opening Bistro in North St. Pete

Vegan, gluten-free bakery HaleLife is opening a new bistro at 11270 4th Street N. in the former home of Brewers’ Tasting Room, St. Pete Rising said.

In addition to bakery items, it will offer breakfast and lunch offerings.

Oaks on 4th Closes

Just short of a year since it’s opening, Oaks on 4th has shut its doors in St. Petersburg at 4351 4th Street N.

“Unfortunately, despite our best efforts and the tireless dedication of our team, we have made the difficult decision to close Oaks on 4th. We have faced unforeseen challenges and obstacles that ultimately hindered our ability to continue operations,” the owners wrote in an Instagram post.

They added, “While our time as a restaurant may have been short, we are proud of the achievements and milestones we reached during this past year. The memories created, the friendships formed, and the positive feedback from our guests have made it all worthwhile.”

Mullet’s Fish Camp Opening at Tropicana Field

Mullet’s Fish Camp at 3901 6th Street S. is debuting a new location at Tropicana Field in the Third Base Food Hall, according to St. Pete Rising.

Mullet’s will be open for all home games at the baseball field, as well as special events, including Enchant Christmas.
