Treasure Island Holiday Boat Parade Rescheduled For Sunday
The 33rd annual Treasure Island Holiday Lighted Boat Parade wasn't rained out. It's just rescheduled.

TREASURE ISLAND, FL -- Never fear. The 33rd annual Treasure Island Holiday Lighted Boat Parade wasn't rained out. It's just rescheduled.
Originally scheduled for Friday night, rainy weather prompted The Club at Treasure Island to reschedule the parade for Sunday, Dec. 16.
The event will begin with a pre-party with a disc jockey, food, beverages and a special visit by Santa at 4:30 p.m. at The Club at Treasure Island, 400 Treasure Island Causeway. The parade kicks off at 6:20 p.m. and awards will be presented at 9 p.m.

The parade is a charity event and those attending are asked to bring unwrapped toy or monetary gift.
The best viewing areas are 115th Avenue on Isle of Palms Treasure Island Causeway Bridge, Kingfish Drive at John’s Pass and the Blind Pass Bridge between Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach.

The Treasure Island Causeway Bridge will close to vehicular traffic at 7 p.m. on Sunday for 30 to 45 minutes to allow the boat parade to pass through.
