Urgent Call For Host Families For Visiting Exchange Students
The trio and their chaperone will arrive in St. Petersburg Monday, July 25 for a 10-day cultural stay.

Announcement from the City of St. Petersburg:
ST. PETERSBURG, FL - St. Petersburg families who enjoy experiencing other cultures are urgently needed to serve as host families for visiting Takamatsu Student Ambassadors.
On Monday, July 25, three student ambassadors from Takamatsu, Japan, Hiromi Kondo, Yui Kawabuchi and Kazuma Furuichi, and a chaperone will arrive in St. Petersburg for a 10-day cultural exchange.

During their stay, host families are encouraged to include their Japanese guests in daily activities, visits to St. Petersburg's cultural attractions,the beach, theme parks, and shopping before the students return to Takamatsu Aug. 3.
Families of current and previous Student Ambassadors are also encouraged to apply, as well as those interested in learning about other cultures.

St. Petersburg is celebrating the 55th anniversary of its Sister City relationship with Takamatsu, Japan, and is partnering with the St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society, Inc., (SPIFFS), to facilitate the Sister Cities program.
