Veterans Day 2022: What’s Open, Closed In St. Petersburg
Check out what's open and closed on the Veterans Day holiday in the St. Petersburg area.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — To honor Friday, Nov. 11, as Veterans Day, various St. Petersburg area government offices will be closed, programs rescheduled and services paused, including the following:
- St. Petersburg City Hall will be closed.
- Residential trash and recycling collection regularly scheduled for Friday were picked up on Thursday. Monday and Tuesday collections will remain the same.
- The city’s annual outdoor Veterans Day ceremony scheduled for Friday has been postponed to Dec. 9.
- All parks and recreation facilities will operate on a normal schedule Friday.
- Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority buses and other services will operate on a normal schedule.
- All St. Petersburg Library System locations will be closed on Friday.
