Victories By 'Kubs' And 'Kats' Keep TQC Pennant Chase Hot
'Kits' and 'Kats' to clash tomorrow, Thursday, March 24 11:30 PM. Kats will be seeking to erase 'Kits' 1 game lead in the championship race.

Two high-powered softball offenses clashed at North Shore Park on Tuesday, March 22. In third place and mathematically eliminated from the Club championship, the ‘Kubs’ continued the hot streak with a 21-20 win over the first place ‘Kits.’
The ‘Kids’ win solidified third-place standing in the four-team competition and slowed the ‘Kits’ first place drive. The loss cut the ‘Kits’ lead to one game going into their game with the ‘Kats’ on Thursday, March 24, 11:30 AM.

Larry Webster chalked up a perfect day at the plate that included a double and two triples in five plate appearances. Don “Cubbie” Kutchinski led the ‘Kits’ offensive show hitting for the “cycle” with a single, double, triple, and home run.
Howard Seymour performed flawlessly at the plate for the ‘Kats,’ with a triple mixed with three singles to compose a 4/4 day. Kaz Gora led Kub batters in the day’s first game with four hits in four at-bats.
