Video: Man Attacked In Bathroom Line

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is looking for help identifying a man it says punched another in a line outside a restaurant’s restroom earlier this month.

According to the agency, Zachary Taylor was waiting in line for the bathroom at Del Mar Gastro Lounge, 243 Central Ave., on May 7 around 1:30 a.m. A man tried to cut in front of Taylor, the agency wrote in an email to media, and a fight broke out.

Taylor was struck twice during that fight, police say.

Taylor was hospitalized for a skull fracture and remains under treatment in Gainesville, where he attends the University of Florida, the agency said.
