Video, Names Released in Drive-Thru Shooting
A woman remains in stable, but critical condition following the Wednesday incident.
The St. Petersburg Police Department has released the names of those involved in a Wednesday afternoon shooting at a McDonald’s drive-thru window.
According to the agency, the incident unfolded at the 4585 34th St. S. McDonald’s as a team from Kyle Kwik Bail Bonds attempted to box in a vehicle in the drive-thru area. The vehicle in question had a passenger inside who was wanted on outstanding warrants. As the three-vehicle bounty hunting team attempted to bring Deveon Stokes into custody, an altercation ensued. A passenger in the vehicle Stokes was riding in was shot as a result. She has been identified as Vonceia S. Welsh, 29, of St. Petersburg.
Welsh was last listed in critical, but stable condition at a local hospital Thursday, police said.

Stokes, 26, was wanted by the bonds team for outstanding warrants on possession of cocaine with intent to sell, failure to appear in court and driving on a suspended license charges. The driver of the vehicle Stokes was in was also arrested. Joshua Allonso Malone, 26, was wanted in connection with an unrelated shooting incident.

- Darrell Ingram, 45, rear passenger. Ingram, police say, fired one shot from a Glock .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol

- Ivey Dale Persha, 44, driver
Bail Bond Vehicle 3 (Blue Audi)
This vehicle was not directly involved in the arrest attempt, police noted.

The shooting remains under investigation. It remains unclear if the bondsmen will face charges.
