Video, Photos Show Armed Robbery Suspects

St. Petersburg Police are looking for some help finding two men wanted in connection with a recent robbery.

An armed robber and his lookout were able to get away with cash and cell phones after a Sept. 6 stickup outside the Coin Laundry, but what they didn’t know is they were being filmed.

The surveillance video of the crime, which occurred at the 2465 5th Ave. N. business around 10:30 p.m., was released Wednesday.

The suspect in the case wrapped his face up with a black shirt and walked up to the victims, who were sitting in their car waiting for their clothes to dry, St. Petersburg Police said. The man pointed his gun at the driver while he approached, and demanded cash and cell phones. The victims handed over what they had and the suspect and his lookout left on foot.
