Video Released of Suspected Auto, Credit Card Thief

The woman was caught on video using the stolen cards.

The St. Petersburg Police Department is looking for some help identifying a woman it believes is connected to a weekend auto burglary and theft.

The initial incident unfolded over the weekend when police were called out to a home on Horseshoe Place in reference to a theft. It seems someone when into a man’s 2009 GM Yukon and swiped his wife’s purse and the keys to a 2004 silver Mercedes-Benz E320. That car with the Florida tag number of BNHD09 is now missing and the wife’s credit cards have since been used all over town.

Surveillance cameras at a local store captured a woman police say used the stolen credit cards. She’s now wanted for questioning in connect with the thefts.
