Video Shows Armed Robbery Suspects in Action

At least one of the men in the video is believed to be connected to two separate crimes.

The St. Petersburg Police is looking for help identifying suspects it says robbed two restaurants at gunpoint over the past week.

The first armed robbery occurred on Nov. 25 around 10:55 p.m. when three men entered Crown St. Pete Fried Chicken, 2216 34th St. S., and demanded cash. The men were given money and left without further incident, an email from the police department stated.

The second armed robbery, believed to be connected to the first, happened on Dec. 1. In that case, two men entered the Subway at 5901 Sun Blvd. around 9:20 p.m., showed off a gun and demanded cash. After receiving money, the men left without further incident.

Police say no one was hurt in either robbery.

Investigators do, however, “believe at least one of the men is the same person in both cases,” the email said.
