Volunteers Needed For The Firestone Grand Prix 2020

The Firestone Grand Prix 2020 has applications open for volunteers at its downtown St. Petersburg track.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Firestone Grand Prix 2020 is recruiting volunteers for its upcoming St. Petersburg event.

Some duties of the volunteers include having familiarization of the track layout to help fans navigate their way around, answer general questions, stand at assigned posts, ticket takers, etc. An orientation is scheduled prior to the event for volunteers.

A volunteer will be assigned to a team throughout the event.

According to the Grand Prix's website, there are nine volunteer teams each assigned to different responsibilities:

  • Access control
  • Ceremonies
  • Credentials
  • Grandstand
  • Hospitality
  • Information services
  • Media center
  • Show car

Just as drivers, fans and staff are required to follow the coronavirus protocols put in place by the city, volunteers will be required to obey them as well. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer from October 23 through October 25, fill out the volunteer application.

Volunteers must be 18-years-old or older.
