'Vote' Exhibit Opens At Mize Gallery In St. Pete
Chad Mize has chosen a vote theme for October's exhibit that gives a voice to the importance of voting and a simple reminder to vote.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Mize Gallery reminds St. Pete residents the importance of voting with its October art exhibit, "Vote." Some of the pieces make voting look sexy.
The first vote reminder from the venue is the word, "Vote" painted multiple times on the front windows of the Mize Art Gallery. It's hard not to glance at the windows when driving or walking by the storefront.
"The concept was that every artist had to use the word vote," said gallery owner Chad Mize. "It wasn't party specific because I didn't want for any of the artists to be anti-Trump or anti-Biden. It was just about the message of voting. I feel like it's such a monumental time right now for voting."

Most of the artists with works in the exhibit are from Tampa Bay. Artists from Chicago, Indiana and Montana also submitted pieces that highlight the importance of voting.

Nikita Rosalind, a local St. Pete artist, makes voting look sexy and vibrant with her piece that features parted full lips with teeth slightly showing surrounded by the word, "Vote" accompanied by bright dripping colors. "Louder" is the title of Rosalind's piece.
