Watch: Dolphin Demonstrates Its Fish-Kicking Skills
Michael McCarthy used a drone to capture video of a dolphin using its powerful tail to kick a fish 25 feet in the air.

You can always count on videographer Michael McCarthy of See Through Canoe to come up with amazing video footage of Florida's marine life.
This time, McCarthy used a drone to capture video of a dolphin using its powerful tail to kick a fish 25 feet in the air.

McCarthy shot the footage Tuesday morning in the Intracoastal Waterway near Indian Rocks Beach.
"Fish kicking is one of the most common feeding techniques used by dolphins in this part of Florida," said McCarthy. "The kick stuns or injures the fish and makes it easy to grab."

Watch closely as the dolphin pauses a moment and looks around as if to say, "I know I got it. Where did it go?"
