ST. PETERSBURG, FL — With St. Petersburg area residents celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday, here are some closures and schedule changes affecting government offices, facilities and services over the holiday weekend.
St. Petersburg City Hall and Municipal Services Center: Closed Thursday and Friday.
Garbage Collection: Residential trash and recycling collection regularly scheduled for Thursday was made on Wednesday. Friday collection remains the same.

Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority: Buses and other services will operate on a holiday schedule, which is the same as a Sunday schedule. The InfoLine and Customer Service Centers are closed Thursday.
St. Petersburg Library System: All locations closed Thursday and Friday.
Pinellas County Schools: Closed Thursday and Friday.
