What's Open, Closed In St. Pete For July 4, 2020 Holiday
Here's what services in St. Petersburg are open and closed July 3 and 4 for the holiday weekend.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Fourth of July looks different this year because of the ongoing pandemic. St. Petersburg's fireworks and many other celebrations are canceled, leaving residents to find ways to celebrate at home. However, we can count on a scheduled holiday.
Because July 4 falls on a Saturday, the Independence Day holiday is observed on Friday, July 3. St. Petersburg city offices will be closed, and other services will have schedule changes.

City Services: City Hall and Municipal City Services Center are closed on Friday, July 3.
Libraries: Libraries are closed to the public until further notice due to the pandemic, but curbside pickup is available. However, it will not be available on July 3.

PSTA: PSTA buses operate on a Sunday schedule on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Routes that do not run on Sundays will not be in service. Buses return to their regular schedules the day after the holiday.
On Friday, July 3, all routes will operate during their regular schedule. For more information about PSTA schedules, visit here.
Community: Sunshine Center, Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and recreation centers are closed in St. Pete on July 3. Sunken Gardens will be open on July 3.
Post offices: Closed on Saturday, July 4.
Garbage and Recycling: Collection regularly scheduled for Friday, July 3rd will be performed on Thursday, July 2nd. All other collections will remain the same.
Public pools: Neighborhood pools and the North Shore Aquatic Complex will be open on July 3rd.
Golf Courses: Mangrove Bay, Cypress Links and Twin Brooks are open on July 3.
