Woman, 68, Found On Ground, Stabbed In St. Petersburg
A man on a bicycle is the top suspect, police said.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL - A 68-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times, possibly by a man on a bicycle, and found early this morning lying on the ground in St. Petersburg, according to police.
Loreen Theresa Chopin, who does not have a permanent address, was discovered at approximately 3 a.m. by a passer-by in the area of 4th Street South and Dali Boulevard, the St. Petersburg Police Department said.
Chopin reportedly was stabbed multiple times in the head and body and was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg for the injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said.

Investigators report that the woman was walking when a man on a bicycle rode up and stabbed her, police said.
Police are seeking the suspect, and anyone with information is asked to call the department at (727) 893-7780.
