Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash
The accident happened early Friday morning on Roosevelt Boulevard.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 41-year-old woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Roosevelt Boulevard early Friday morning.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, Anita Marie Sanchez was heading east on Roosevelt in a 2004 GMC Envoy around 4:30 a.m. As Sanchez approached the Interstate 275 overpass, she lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The Envoy ended up crashing into a guardrail.
Sanchez, police said, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

Sanchez was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where she later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
