Woman Shoots Her Wife During Argument: St. Pete Police

A suspect faces charges of attempted homicide and felon in possession of a firearm after authorities said she shot her wife.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A St. Petersburg woman is accused of shooting her wife during an argument at a St. Pete apartment complex on Tuesday, St. Pete police said.

According to investigators, 53-year-old Faye Swain shot her wife during an argument at Saint Charles Row Apartments, 1175 Pinellas Point Dr S. Swain was arrested on Wednesday, and charged with attempted homicide and felon in possession of a firearm.

The victim is recovering from her injuries, investigators said.
