Woman Thrown From SUV Into Apartment Parking Lot: St. Pete Police

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A seriously injured woman was found in an apartment complex parking lot Wednesday night, according to a St. Petersburg Police Department news release.

Detectives responded to reports of the injured woman at the Madeira Apartments, 7533 38th Ave. N., just before 8 p.m.

The victim, a 55-year-old woman, was thrown from a light-colored SUV. She suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.

There was no crash involved and the SUV left the scene.
