ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Tuesday morning wrong-way crash involving two of its own. A motorist suffering from a medical emergency ended up hospitalized following the collision.
According to the agency, Deputies Martin Eisner and Randall Dorr were on duty, heading south on 71st Street North around 1:29 a.m. Dec. 20. As Eisner attempted to make a left turn onto 62nd Avenue North on a green light, the front driver’s side door of his Chevrolet Tahoe cruiser was struck by an oncoming Trailblazer.
