• PSTA's Ferry Service Takes Major Step Forward as First Vessel Arrives in Pinellas County (paradisenewsfl.com) — Tarpon Springs is playing a key role in launching PSTA's new ferry service, with the Bay Breeze now in town for refurbishment at Tarpon Marine Service. Local officials say the project will bring work to area maritime businesses while preparing vessels for passenger trips between downtown St. Petersburg and Tampa later this year. The effort is funded by a federal transit grant.
