A record crowd of more than 1,000 people attended this year’s 2nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day BASH at the Mulligans Irish Pub at Wentworth Golf Club. With St. Pats on a Sunday, celebrators started the fest Saturday through the wee hours on Sunday. They consumed over 350 pounds of Corned Beef & Cabbage and over 50 cases of Green Beer and 10 kegs of Guinness and other beers!
While other venues struggle to handle the crowds, Mulligans party spread from the Pub through the new Banquet Room and out to the covered Veranda surrounded by the beautiful Wentworth golf course. It couldn’t get much greener!
Four bands entertained throughout the weekend fest – the Mickey Lorden Band, Broken Roads, Sweet Charlie and Kenny Holcomb. Many sang Irish tunes, and there were also recorded Irish favorites between sets. As parents enjoyed the music and raffles, kids played games, participated in contests and marked the day with photo booth pictures.

“Every year the party gets larger and this year set the all-time record”, says Mulligans Proprietor Chris Murphy. “The costumes get crazier and greener, too!”
