I am hoping that you will agree to cover an event that will take place in our community on Saturday, January 19, 2013.
On that date, St. Ignatius Parish will display 300 crosses on church property along Tarpon Springs Boulevard. Those crosses symbolize the deaths of over 55 million babies in the U.S. since the Roe vsWade Supreme Court decision was made on January 23, 1973. We put these same crosses up last year and were heartened by the many positive comments we received and how life-affiriming it was to many people.
I am hoping that you would mention this event on the Tarpon Springs Patch website. Perhaps you would consider adding photos and even sharing the informaton with other websites. I have already sent this to Sunde Farquhar, but any ideas are welcome.
