Does "diving" in soccer cheapen the world's game?

How many Americans have been turned off to soccer because of the Academy-Award-worthy acting by soccer players on all levels.

When I watch a soccer match and I see the acting that is going on, it reminds me of the fake wrestling we have had in the past.
