Speak out if you want Fireworks this 4th!

Those of you in the know may have read a bit about reviving the effort to light the skies above Sunset Beach with 4th of July Fireworks this year.

Now, how cool would that be ...

Our city leaders are kicking around the idea again - most agree it would be a blast to once again celebrate our nation's independence with a spectacular fireworks display - and for a little over ten grand, which is quite a lot of bang for the buck. Generally speaking, the city beancounters have done a pretty good job squirreling away money for reserves, so why not blow a little?
