Sustainable Tarpon Springs - An Invitation

 Thank you so much for wonderful introductions and responses this past week because I’m discovering through your generous sharing, all the good things that are in progress in this area.

In spite of appreciating the convenience and connectivity of the internet, it can only go so far in building friendships and establishing working connections.  Creative ideas are a wonderful thing, but they are like dormant seeds until they are planted, watered, and receive sunshine.  We’ve got plenty of sunshine, so we just need to plant and water our ideas for the future!

To manifest shared visions, it is always good to meet, prioritize, and realistically set some strategies for collectively and consciously moving in the direction of the ‘good we want to see in our world.’  

For each of us there are ‘pet-passions’ - such as permaculture, organic gardening, creating energy co-ops, extending the Suncoast Co-op to Tarpon Springs, making golf cart use legal on the streets of Tarpon Springs, and one of my own ‘pet-passions’ - getting rid of styrofoam use and lessening waste.  To work on any projects alone, we have limited power.  But to collectively collaborate on one another’s dreams and visions for a Sustainable Tarpon Springs, we have a much better chance of seeing the best results manifest - a Win / Win for ALL.

So, if you are interested in meeting, talking, prioritizing local goals - I will be at the Eco-Bean on Wednesday night at 7 PM to talk start the conversation with anyone who is available and interested.
