Tarpon Springs Voters and Absentee Ballots

Tarpon Springs Election information

The City Clerk's office has just forwarded the candidates in the upcoming, March 12, 2013 election that out of 6,785 absentee ballots requested as of 2/28/2013 only 1,692 have been completed by voters.  Each ballot costs tax payers a little under $2.00 each to send.  If you received an absentee ballot and have not sent it in, you may also take it to your polling place on election day, March 12, 2013 and vote there.   All elections are important, please vote.  Last week the City Clerk's office sent a postcard to you with your polling place and election day information.  If you are not sure where to vote contact the City Clerk's office or the Supervisor of Elections for that information.  Clerk: 942-5614  or Supervisor of Election Pinellas County: website has all information needed to find your precinct or call 464-VOTE (8683).

In addition, as a candidate in that election I will begin picking up my smaller signs as soon as the polls close election night and I will be visiting the City Clerk's office to see the progress of the voter count.  Under City Ordinance all campaign signs must be removed within 7 days.  I plan on having mine removed by then and I thank everyone who has allowed me to place a sign on their property and the voters and property owners for tolerating the signs throughout Tarpon Springs.
