The End of an Election, Not the End of My Work
While March 12th didn't end up the way I hoped, my work for the community will continue and no one knows what the future may hold.

March 12th was a nerve-wracking day for me, spent sign waving and trying to make last minute decisions on how to drive folks out to the polls. My campaign was hard fought, and I am proud to say we lost because we did not work hard enough. It was an uphill battle from the beginning, and I am truly inspired by the support I did receive. My age was one of the biggest factors against me, but I refused to let it stop me. I held my own at all of the forums, and I believe I worked hard to present real solutions to the issues here in Tarpon Springs. I want to thank everyone who did support me, and shared kind words with me.
March 12th may have been an end to a campaign, but it was not the end of my dedication to the community. For a few years I have been attending City Commission meetings, and I will continue to do so to voice my opinion for the betterment of Tarpon Springs. I will continue to be involved with the Chamber, community projects, and am working to join a civilian board to continue my work for the people of Tarpon Springs.
While the election wasn't exactly how I had hoped, I am still proud and happy to have met so many residents, hear their concerns, and inject my ideas in the public forum. My presence won't be lost because of one election, and the best is just ahead. I hope my run at 22 encourages more young people to get involved here locally so the voice of the people is better reflected and more fresh ideas can be injected. I want to congratulate Mr. Banther, and I hope he works very hard for the people of Tarpon, as I will continue to do. Thank you again for all of the support, and I look forward to continue my work for this community in the coming years.
